About the Production

2022 marked the 50th Anniversary of the annual Chippewa Falls High School Musical. As a celebration, it was decided to return to the very first musical ever presented on the Chippewa Falls High School stage - My Fair Lady. The goal of this production was to not only pay homage to the original production from 50 years before, but to also explore the story of Eliza Doolittle with a modern eye. This production gave the students the opportunity to explore the characters honestly and to ask tough questions about roles of gender, power dynamics in relationships, and how these issues are still impacting us today. This production was considered by many to be one of the best productions of the 50 years of musicals at the school and considered to be one of its most elaborate in terms of design.
